Chairman's Message

Improving the quality of life through horses, it's what we do. Heartland is achieving our mission to serve children and adults with disabilities, of all kinds, through equine-assisted activities and therapies. We have new participants enrolling every session and others we have been serving for decades. We are committed to serving even more people in the future, making growth a focus point for our organization .

We are investigating ways in which we can provide a new, multi-purpose space to better serve our current participants, and increase the number of people we are able to help. This gathering space would include a viewing area, meeting space, kitchen, quiet room, therapy room, and an office, providing a safe and comfortable place for our participants and their families, while also allowing us to expand therapy services, school programs and camps.

Our annual Tux 'n' Boots event continues to impress and raise important funds for our programs. I would describe this evening as a "World Class Production Event". With the help of generous supporters, we turn our arenas into a unique venue unlike any fundraiser you have ever seen. I encourage you to set your calendar for June 12, 2020. Tux 'n' Boots is a fun event, amazing to experience, and serves a wonderful purpose.
