Hunter McPhail Scholarship Fund

 The Hunter McPhail Scholarship Fund was created in 2018 in memory of one of our beloved riders. Hunter rode at Heartland for five years. He felt a strong connection to his horse, Solo, and his volunteer team.  On Solo, Hunter was able to communicate better and worked on counting and colors with his volunteers. You could see in his smile the love and confidence that he felt. Each week he would have an entire cheering section here to watch him ride. Hunter's joyous spirit lives on each time a rider is able to take advantage of the scholarship fund. 

Heartland is committed to offering our services to all individuals who qualify, regardless of their financial circumstances. Assistance is provided for those who qualify through our Hunter McPhail Scholarship Fund. The Scholarship Fund bridges the gap for those needing financial assistance. Thanks to the generosity of donors, no one is turned away due to their inability to pay.
